For many years @campofchampions has been a crucial part of our summers. We have had the opportunity to be Diggers, Coaches, Lunch Boys, and even sponsor camp. The summers at COC have shaped the lives of many in the DWD crew, and for this, we are forever thankful to Ken Achenback and the entire COC family. . Why are Snowboarding events and especially DIY snowboarding events the best? Because we’re faced with a lot of unique obstacles that keep us on our toes and force us to adapt to them and, more often than not, think outside the box. These obstacles only enhance the energy at any DIY event. It’s like you’re being told “No”, and responding with, “oh yeah? watch me”. . This past weekend at the annual #CDImemorial QP weekend the top portion of the access road was blocked because the cutter that plows the road had broken the week prior. But, as stated earlier, that’s merely fuel on the DIY fire. The block in the road was right around #CheyennesShortcut (@CannedHeat1); and since that’s a long trek from the usual QP location, the party started there. Leave it to @DarkerPuke to start diggin’ on a hip, and it’s not long until everyone is joined in and hips, jumps and tree taps are going off! . Here @PonyFishBiscuit catches #LorenHasARoach jumpin’. . Thank you to everyone that makes this event happen; @CoreyMcdonald and @FrozenTauntaun, and the entire Boise snowboarding community! 🙌🏻🙏🏻
