Name of the shop? Newt & Harolds, Boise Idaho, in biz since 1985.
Name of person answering the questions? Ben Woodard, shop manager.

How long has the shop been around for? and what is the secret to it's success?
If we leaked the secret to being successful it wouldnt be a secret anymore now would it!! I will say this though, providing the best customer service possible and carrying rad brands like DWD help a lot!

What rider has influenced snowboarding the most in your area?
The riders that have influenced the most people in our area would most definitely be either Jeff Tullock or Corey McDonald.

What is the best thing about working at/owning a shop?
My favorite part about workin at a shop would have to be setting a lil grom up with his/her first skate deck or his/her first snowboard set up. Seeing the excitement in their eyes reminds me of bing a little kid getting my first ride.

You¹re stuck on a mountain for the rest of your life and you can only have 1 snowboard. Is it camber, or reverse camber? Why?
If I had to pick between rocker or camber for the rest of time. I would say camber for sure. Camber just works. Rocker boards are for people that like to cheat at nose presses!

If you could guess the next big trend in snowboarding, what would it be?
The next big trend in snowboarding is back to the future hover boards and magnetic bindings.
--------------------------------

while you wait for the hover boards to drop. get yourself over to Newts and get a new set-up for the season.
