Summit at Snoqualmie and Stevens Pass are our local haunts. Both try to open every year around Thanksgiving.

Pat McCarthy, Austen Sweetin, Andy Stern, Yudo, Seth Kitzke, John Shaw, Sam Roberts, Adam Willden
What rider has influenced snowboarding the most in your area?
In history, Craig Kelly and the MBHC crew. As for in recent history, Pat McCarthy and Austen Sweetin.
Is there any local brands from your area that people should be on the look out for?
POW gloves are local and not widely distributed but they have a huge local following and they are getting better and better every year.
What is the golden age of snowboarding for you? when and why.
I'm 33... so slightly older than some of the kids on our staff. The newness, enthusiasm, and rebeliousness of snowboarding from 1991-1996 made me feel like I was in an exclusive tribe. Like I knew something most everyone else didn't.
